I like this "first" streak!
Here's to a revealing episode tonight. Not expecting to discuss.
Hi Maven
Hi, girls!
Hi Swan
Hellooos!
Hey, JT!
That frozen guy's shirt didn't look ancient!
And he's pretty juicy!
We knew that would happen. Looked like he had a stroke.
You think he might be from 1944?
Hi JT
LOL, juicy! I guess freezing made him preserved pretty well.
Hope you all had a good Easter!
I don't know, SG. It just didn't seem like the shirt was ancient, IMO
Yes, nice time with family- hope you all did too if you observe it.
Hey, I was right.. a stroke. (poor guy!)
Yep, spent time with family both days and had decent weather for a change, if not really warm.
Quite unrealistic that after a stroke so severe, you can all of a sudden talk straight and make sense, IMO.
Oh boy- can't have it both ways Sophia.
Agreed Swan
I watched my Mom have a stroke and come out of it.
Think you're right Swan. Takes a long time to recover.
My mom had a slight stroke that only effected her speech and it took awhile for things to get better.
93 years?
93 years.. oh, gross!
jinx, JT
1918 World War 1?
Yuck
was waiting for him to cut himself
So, the virus maybe will be passed air-born. (he was looking at the lungs and really happy about it)
oh, oh... he opened the door. Reminds me a bit of the House rerun I watched before this.
hmm, World War I?
the ebees weren't here yet, so can't blame Thomas on that one, right?
Lots of gassing going on in WWI. Don't know about biological weapons though.
The EBE's have been here for a long time according to Dempsey.
That's true, SG.
found this:
During World War I, the German Army developed anthrax, glanders, cholera, and a wheat fungus specifically for use as biological weapons. They allegedly spread plague in St. Petersburg, Russia, infected mules with glanders in Mesopotamia, and attempted to do the same with the horses of the French Cavalry.
Hmm- do we have enough meds to combat widespread plague?
Even if we did, JT.. it could be a problem getting it distributed quickly enough. I guess it depends on how fast everything would happen.
I don't think we're equipped for something like this, really. What they plan may be considered an old problem not thought of anymore, thought of as not possible because it's been eratdicated.
Is Vicki falling for Sean??
that's what you get for opening the door
I think she's liking the new take charge Sean.
Maybe Swan.
I think it would be a good idea to get out the explosives and sink that boat!
Absolutely JT.
wonder what would happen if the ocean died?
I hope the VP gets the first whiff of that virus!
Oh- Spanish flu
I think my great uncle died of that.
Sterling may have to engage in a little assassination of his own.
Ohh- coffee stain!
Sweet I hope Blake takes him down.
Only 4 episodes left ??
Loved the ending! Funny that I didn't like Blake (or trust him) in the beginning, but that's all changed now.
That's interesting, JT (about your uncle)
Oh, you were comment #42, JT.. very lucky! go buy a lotto ticket! LOL
I'm wondering about that too. 4 episodes left EVER or just for this season. I haven't heard of a cancellation, have you?
That will make 22 episodes.
I think they mean for the season.
I haven't heard it's been canceled just rumors it might be.
I read that they took 42 from Hitchhikers Guide- it was the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. have always liked that number!
I haven't heard about cancellation- but certainly people have been dying- Thomas, Dempsey. So they could be wrapping up.
I hope this doesn't get cancelled, but it doesn't look good that so many BIG characters are being killed off.
42 has lots of significance in many ways, one of them being a reference to the Hitchhiker's Guide.
So gross! And I watch Fringe!
Okay, how the heck did Sean and Vicky get to that boat so fast...weren't they in France?
Nothing solid on cancellation yet...this and V are in trouble.
Maven- I thought they were pretty quick too. Maybe they are on Fringe time-the team there seem to zoom around -between Boston & NY especially!
The locked box on Dempsey's desk is open now. It has information on Sean.
Oh it doesn't have anything we don't already know.
:::delurking::::
Hi folks.
I hope it's not canceled! Only 4 eps left? oh man...
Hmm....Elias or Jarvis? Sophia or Sterling? Human or non-terrestrials? gee, I just don't know who to root for...
One thing I do know: I like the president's wife. I root for her, even if she's an alien. Legal or not.
:::re-engaging lurker device::::
Right, after Nephews, Royal Weddings, etc.. I've finally got to watch the episode.
Spanish Flu seems a bit of an odd weapon, but I suppose if we had no resistance back then we probably won't have developed it by now.
Poor old Martinez, will he live ? I'm not sure, but unless there is an EBE cure for strokes then I don't think he will be in office of any sort much longer.
It is odd that they are killing off lots of big characters, assuming they want this to go to a second season, which it appears Nick Wauters does, then who will be left for a 2nd season ? At the moment it just looks like Sean and Sophia.
Right, I'll go and catch some of the other updates around the web, as there are a few this week.
