That scene with Blake reminded me a bit of Sawyer and Cassidy when she said she had money he didn't know about and Sawyer's first reaction was.. hey, then let's just get out of here and live on a island somewhere. (or something like that, LOL.. I remember him saying' 'till they're toes up') But no, Cassidy wanted to do one more big con. I always thought that made her suspicious.

Has he been doing the same type of genetic engineering/testing on the girls. If so why?

I had thought that the Hal Holbrook character was not part of the EBEs, but that phone conversation seemed to put him as one of them (why would he be so old, though?).
Also noticed Sterling's wife saying the kid's were projecting their consciousness somewhere else.
So Sophia is definitely the leader. And confirmation that Thomas is her son feeling his oats! :) And wasn't that the same flowers (white) in the vase in Thomas' apt. as was with Dempsey?
Seems we have some daddy issues here again with Sterling and his father.
At least we have a name for the 44ers on the loose: The Sleepers.

The projecting conciousness line definitely stood out, more than just a throw away comment for me.

I think Dempsey discovered one or more of the sleepers, maybe Thomas and is using their advanced knowledge to cure himself. He's on an IV. Or he's trying to slow down his aging because he's dying.
He's kidnapping children to do genetic experiments on them. I also wonder if he's the one doing Thomas' investing for him. I don't think he's a sleeper. Carter might be. I'm still not sure about Vicky.
If those girls were only taken 6 months ago they changed very quickly, and why only their faces?
I figured they were girls names based on the last promo but the numbers......what does SEC shell companies have to do with the girls?

I do like how they seem to be getting me to like these people with the backstories. . .because I wasn't all that crazy about Simon or Blake Sterling before the backstory and now I feel sorry for both of them. Poor fellows. . .

Dempsey sure seems to be into genetic engineering with his talk about the flowers. Maybe he's trying to figure out how to control aging (Joop) since he's so old and he wants to live forever? Which leads me to believe that Samantha might be a hybrid that will become another test subject. Which means Michael might be a Sleeper.
it depends on the day. Today lots of pain- like my head in a vice being cranked on alot. other days I'm good. Next MRI is in Feb. so no surgery till then at least unless this pain gets unbearable. To me it is already but they say it's not so I just deal iwth it and buck up. Miss you all too !

So Madeline says the someone out there making Mike fly the plane, etc, is doing it for reasons "not political". That combined with the corporate spin about "shell companies" maybe means rich guy trying to exploit the 44's.
As you have said, Dempsey may be trying to prolong his life.
Ah- along those lines- maybe Dempsy is taking something from the girls-assuming they are 44's- that keeps him alive, and causes them to age when it is removed.

Just looked at the video, and there is a big edit, you have 15:14, where nothing happens, then it jumps to 15:16 where Leila is in the middle of what she is doing.
I noticed it had been edited to. Leila just appears, but I didn't look at how much time if was. Also you can see there's a driver already in the car at the begining of the video. With the edit it makes it seem like it's the doctor but maybe it's not. It could be Sean or Leila. There's a lot of movement going on in thar car before the door opens. Maybe the good doctor was car jacked.
With the different people walking around up by the building it's hard to believe he was brought from there at gun point and nobody noticed.

Well it gave me a chance to give Dennis's Fringe site a plug without it seeming to be completely out of place on a The Event website.
Is it coincidence or fate? LOL I saw that Fringe glyph code at Dennis' site and thought the same thing, Zort!

You must have stopped about the time I started watching. It's actually kind of good this season - I never really liked it much before.
Fringe is my top must see show now- Lots of fun to watch the story and shout at Peter- "Come on- can't you see it's Altlivia?"
