Hello everyone.

Just Thinking said...

Hi there-wow- these guys will kill people like they were flies won't they?

Black Swan said...

Hi there! You've got that right, JT.

Black Swan said...

Hi Sayid'sgirl!! Hope all is well with you and your family.

ObFuSc8 said...

Hi guys.

That beer bottle breaking felt too contrived.

maven said...

enjoy...will catch you all later! Thanks for the post, ML.

MJCarp said...

Leila has electronics gifts! Better start tonight.

Black Swan said...

Gosh, I feel so sorry for these people. Sometimes this is really hard to watch.

OB, I agree. And that's when it reminds me of 24, LOL.

ObFuSc8 said...

Some humor....finally!

MJCarp said...

He kicked the bottle on purpose and the asking to shake head seems like he is giving her message to escape. ?

ObFuSc8 said...

Did any of you catch the chiron at the beginning of that segment -- where the Avias passengers were?

Tess315 said...

Hi Black Swan
Things are as well as can be expected. Thanks for asking. Mom's been having some problems.

Tess315 said...

Who should we trust Blake Sterling or the VP?

Black Swan said...

Good question, SG. I don't trust the VP. (I was thinking of your mom)

Just Thinking said...

Hmm, why does Vicki want to be alone with Leila?

ObFuSc8 said...

Sorry about your mom, Tess.

Seems like they made the drive from AZ to Lubbock a little too quickly.

Tess315 said...

Did Simon put the phone in the bag?

ObFuSc8 said...

Yeah, POTUS -- why can't they transport Sophia/detainees?

Oh,some POTUS/FLOTUS back story...telling their story to Sophia?

ObFuSc8 said...

Bwahahahaha...NOSEBLEEDS!

Tess315 said...

Ok time jumping nose bleeds? really?

Black Swan said...

nosebleeds, not good.. just like Lost

Just Thinking said...

Tess- I don't think Simon is helping Thomas.

ObFuSc8 said...

I don't think they are Temporal Displacement Syndrome nosebleeds. Either side effects of whatever Thomas & co did to them, or the next phase in Thomas' plan?

Tess315 said...

JT I agree. I don't think he is either. I hope. hmmm

Ob I don't think so either but I had to go there. :)
They only went across the country.

Tess315 said...

Finally a woman who knows how to shoot a gun.

Big surprise that Vicki has a son.

Black Swan said...

I don't know what to think

Black Swan said...

Poor kid had a hard time knowing how to smile.

Just Thinking said...

Well there's a twist- give the villan a child we empathize with.

Tess315 said...

Ok whats 1096?

MJCarp said...

That was a fast sunset and where's the blood on hands?

Melissa_Lossa said...

I'm guessing this does not end well for the cops.

MJCarp said...

the old Scotch drink of approval

ObFuSc8 said...

Yup, that's why the beer bottle breaking scene looked so contrived.

I know it's not MacCutcheon, but that bottle of scotch looked odd...

Black Swan said...

It's all to get Sean. Who was Vicki talking to?

Tess315 said...

That was a good ending. Next week looks good too.

Black Swan said...

Yep, OB.. you had that one early on

LOL, MacCutcheons

MJCarp said...

That dude likes junk food.

ObFuSc8 said...

Swan, I'd guess Vicki was talking to whoever heads up their rogue faction. Someone whose ex-military or ex-intelligence and has access to $$$.

Tess315 said...

Black Swan the closed captioning gave a name but I didn't recognize it.

ObFuSc8 said...

who's, not *whose*

ObFuSc8 said...

I missed the beginning of the scene where they showed us the Avias passengers. Where did the chiron say they are?

Melissa_Lossa said...

Ob - it was the CDC or something. Some kind of quarantine, but I don't think they gave a location beyond that.

Just Thinking said...

Maybe Vicki is being coerced with her son in danger? She didn't kill the trooper right away who stopped the van, tried to bribe him first at least. Not like the guy who just shot the man for his car.

ObFuSc8 said...

Thanks Mel.

Vicky seems to enjoy what she does a little too much to have been completely coerced, but maybe the rogue agents use her son as a kind of leverage to keep her working for them.

ObFuSc8 said...

It's interesting that Michael and Leila Buchanan's occupations are still blacked out on their dossiers.

Leila majored in Biochem at MIT and lives in Atlanta. I wonder if she works with/for the CDC?

ObFuSc8 said...

Michael Buchanan flew "internationally" until Leila was 10, then switched to domestic when he took the job with Avias.

Something happened to Sean's family when he was 10, that may have been when his mother "left"/died.

I would think Leila and Shaun are around the same age, so that all happened at around the same time. Not sure if it's linked.

maven said...

A pretty good episode. This Sean/Leila flashback thing isn't doing too much for me right now. Anyone grab the name of the Scotch?

Ob, I think the facility was in Fairfax, Virginia and it said Bio Quarantine Facility. Some kind of bio-agent must be involved.

Good twist at the end. I'm getting a feeling that Sean just might be one of the 44ers...especially after that story about his family.

Tess315 said...

Why do the free Inostrankans want Sean so bad? We're missing a big piece of the puzzle. What happened after Sean left the ship.

I don't think it was coincidence that he sneaked on to Michael's plane. He knew what Michael was up to and was trying to stop him. How did he know?

StillWatching said...

Oh, that makes a lot more sense. I like that idea. If Sean is an Inostrankan, that would explain a lot wouldn't it?

Zort70 said...

Hi all, I've added some screen captures of the episode.

The facility just says "Bio Quarantine Facility - Fairfax, VA"

Zort70 said...

Overall I enjoyed the episode, it gave a bit more this time, but I'm still not sure where things are headed.

Nosebleeds and Scotch, how many people didn't think of LOST !

Zort70 said...

By the way in my comparison photo's yesterday the third comparison didn't get uploaded, probably the same problem that MEL had.

I've added it to the post now, it just shows the frames from the second episode and one from the third as the RV seems to appear out of thin air.

Zort70 said...

Sorry not MEL but Mel (Melissa_Lossa) !

I haven't seen MEL around for a little while.

maven said...

After sleeping on it, the Sean=44er idea I posted last night seems to make more and more sense. He's obviously a computer whiz, but that wouldn't be enough for them to set up this elaborate scheme to find Sean. I think he's the key and he doesn't know he's a 44er. His background is pretty sketchy as far as his parents go.

Zort70 said...

Yes, that is an interesting possibility Maven.

Could he be affecting his own environment subconciously ?

Zort70 said...

By the way there is another Truthseeker5314 article posted. Nothing especially interesting, it just talks about the passengers waking up.

maven said...

The Deconstructing The Event video is also up. Nothing earth-shattering...except for who Vicky and Carter are (don't know if it's spoiler territory or not).

Tess315 said...

maven
I discovered a mild spoiler last night when closed captioning gave the name of the person Vicky was talking to on the phone at the end of the episode.

maven said...

Tess: So I gather it's not Thomas? I saw a possible rumor today about that.

Tess315 said...

maven
Nope not Thomas. Is it possible there's another group involved who aren't Inosrankans? Or is this person on the phone above Thomas.

I would guess the rumor is right. But I haven't heard it.

maven said...

Tess: I messaged you on FB. :)

Unknown said...

The only way these guys can transport people is if they are already in motion. That is why they are trapped in Alaska. Thomas was able to transport the people on that plane because they were in motion. If you notice in the episode 5 preview, Thomas tells the prez to keep the train moving. Don't know if that means anything or if that give any clues to who these guy are. I hope they are not aliens.

Tess315 said...

freddy
That's a very interesting theory. I like it, and I hope they're aliens either.

Just Thinking said...

I thought we were working on the idea that there was a group-probably connected with the government somehow, that was trying to assassinate the pres to prevent him from revealing Sophia, etc. That group included the people who attacked Leila's family and made Mike fly the plane, those who kidnapped Leila, the ones who shot up the FBI office, and the ones who are waiting for Sean at the sheriff's. They aren't connected with Thomas as they were trying to stop the Inostrankans from being freed.

Then there are the detainees and the 44's that are at large. Thomas seems to have his own group out there, and Simon is the link between Sophia and the outside 44's. Maybe there is a group that Simon controls too.

There is also the president and the "normal" government agents, trying to deal with whole situation. They are playing us back and forth between the VP and Sterling as to whether one of them is directing the first group - the assassins.

Is that how it seems to you all?

Tess315 said...

JT
That's pretty much how I see it. I was thinking that Vicky was a 44er until this episode. Now I'm thinking maybe she's not. I'm not sure If I think that the kidnappers are part of the government though.

Simon is a go between and appears to be loyal to Sophia. I don't think he's head of his own group. I'm not sure if it was his idea Sophia's or Thomas' to implant himself into the CIA.

maven said...

JT: I think you summed it up pretty nicely. I also thought Vicky and Carter, etc. where aligned somehow with Thomas' faction, but now it doesn't seem that way. There's a different agenda there. I still say Sean is the key!

Just Thinking said...

Yes, I think Simon is the director for Sophia of the 44's outside-in general they are his "group". But Thomas is not following orders-not putting the plane down safely for instance- and seems to have his own bunch loyal to him.

Kind of a mirror to the government-it is supposed to be headed by the president and his staff should carry out his orders. But there seems to be a sub group that does not agree with the official agenda and is willing to be violent to obtain their objectives.

Just Thinking said...

Maven- trying to think of evidence for Sean as 44er-and I remembered the pictures of Sean seemingly meeting those mysterious snorkelers, and the strange markings on the beach in his photos. Could be he met up with 44's then.

Lisa-Maladylis said...

finally saw the show last night, great show. I don't think I'm able to keep up with you all so if I'm missing, thats why. I will try though.

maven said...

JT: I don't think Sean knows he's a 44er. It's just a feeling I have, especially when his story about his parents was suspicious to me and the big question as to why he's so important to whoever is employing Vicky and Carter. Can't just be his computer skills.

Lisa: Please try to pop in here even if it's just to say "hi"!

Just Thinking said...

Hi Lisa-yes-please let us know how you are-hope you can stay connected as you have treatment.

Maven-Interesting idea- Sean not knowing. Let's see- then he would have to have been born to 44's and perhaps had a normal growth rate as a child? Or lost his memory somehow- and not know he was an original 44er, or that he took forever to grow up if he was born here.

I was feeling that Mike was a 44er, but he also got sick with the rest of the air passengers-so don't know if that means anything. It crossed my mind that the scotch might be some kind of test to find other 44's-that maybe he was checking Sean out by asking him about his past and offering him the drink.

StillWatching said...

Sean could be a 44'er who was somehow separated from his mother when she started claiming to be an alien of course - which would have made her seem quite crazy. Didn't he say she was crazy or did I make that part up?
