New The Event Website 16

Via the @NBCTheEvent Twitter site we got an announcement of the new version of the official website.

Not a total difference from the original site but it does look like it has some interesting features.

Demand The Event In Your Town 1

Just in case you haven't seen this competion already, NBC are running an Event screening and want you to choose which location it will be in.

You have to sign up for the site, set your location and click on the Demand It button. The top 5 demanded locations will get a screening.

I've added my town of Stafford in the UK, but I seem to be the only one from here so far !

There is a full-length trailer up at NBC for "The Event". It is very enticing and indicates that there is much more to this series besides "the event". At this point, promos are not considered spoilers.

Inostranka Memo Scan and Website 8


As reported previously the Comic-Con attendees were handed top secret documents by mysterious agents.

Nerderific (aka SlytherinGirl) got hold of one of the documents and has sent us a high quality scan of it. click the picture for the larger version.

The Mount Inostranka facility is the subject of the memo and the names Simon Lee (Agent), Blake Sterling (Director of Bureau Inteligence and Research, General Whitman and Sophia Maguire who may be a resident / inmate of the facility.

Digital Spy - Satisfying Event

This article on the Entertainment News site Digital Spy reports that the show runners have made a bold claim that The Event will satisfy viewers.

There is also a second article published today at Digital Spy's dedicated The Event page, which says that Event execs have learnt from ABC's FlashForward and are going to try and avoid what happened with it.
