This article on the Entertainment News site Digital Spy reports that the show runners have made a bold claim that The Event will satisfy viewers. There is also a second article published today at Digital Spy's dedicated The Event page, which says that Event execs have learnt from ABC's FlashForward and are going to try and avoid what happened with it.
